Earlier today, Alec Bradley announced that it will increase prices on most of its portfolio later this month.

Effective Dec. 23, 2021, the prices for most of the company’s lines will increase by about 5-8 percent according to a company spokesperson. Two lines are not increasing in price: Gatekeeper and Occidental Reserve.

Popular cigars like the Black Market and Black Market Estelí Toro will have an MSRP of $9.90 per cigar after the increase, the Project 40 Robusto will have an MSRP of $5.55, and the Prensado Churchill will now have an MSRP of $11.95 per cigar. Even recent release like the new Alec & Bradley Kintsugi are increasing by 50-65 cents per cigar.

Between now and Feb. 1, 2022, many companies are expected to announce and implement price increases. Some have begun the process of informing retailers that increases are coming, but many have not disclosed the details of the pricing adjustments.
