On Feb. 1, 2022, the price of all Rocky Patel cigars will increase by 5 percent.

In a letter sent to retailers today, the company says the increases are “due to increased costs associated with the production, tobacco, and transportation of our products.” In addition, the letter says the price increase would also affect “private labeled cigars.” It also said that any orders, including backorders, place by Jan. 31, 2022 will be honored at the current pricing.

Between now and Feb. 1, 2022, many companies are expected to announce and implement price increases. Some have begun the process of informing retailers that increases are coming, but many have not disclosed the details of the pricing adjustments.
