The prices on most cigars sold by Davidoff—including brands such as AVO, Camacho, Zino and others—will increase Friday, Oct. 7.

In total, the price increases amount to a 7.32 percent increase on average, though they range from no increase to more than 20 percent.

For the eponymous Davidoff brand, the increases amount to 7.56 percent. The most notable increase will be for the Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour line, which will increase by 20.19 percent across its three sizes. The new prices are:

  • Winston Churchill The Late Hour Churchill — $27.90 (+$4.70)
  • Winston Churchill The Late Hour Robusto — $24.30 (+$4.10)
  • Winston Churchill The Late Hour Toro — $26.40 (+$4.40)

There are also $10 per cigar increases to the MSRP of the Royal Release cigars, one of Davidoff’s most expensive lines. One line—the Escurio—is not increasing in price.

  • Davidoff Primeros +5.26 percent
  • Davidoff Winston Churchill Tins +5.68 percent

As for the rest of Davidoff’s portfolio, prices for AVO are going up 7.3 percent on average, Camacho will increase by 6.9 percent and Zino prices will increase by 10.5 percent.

In a letter to retailers, JT Guagliardo, head of sales for Davidoff of Geneva USA, indicated the price increases were due to “continually rising costs, shortages in logistics, labor, and raw materials.” That letter also indicated that there were would be pricing “across the majority of markets” where Davidoff is sold.

Davidoff of Geneva USA’s last price change was made in December 2021.
