A price increase is going into effect for the Epic Cigars and Nat Cicco brands, both of which are part of the Zander-Greg portfolio.
Dean Parsons, the founder of Epic Cigars and its brand ambassador, did not go into specifics of the price increases on a line-by-line basis, but he told halfwheel that the increases will range from 3 to 8 percent across the two brands’ lines. All of the lines within those portfolios are being affected by the increase.
“This increase is due to substantial costs incurred as a result of continued government scrutiny within the tobacco industry leading to increased state and federal costs, including taxes and user fees as well as the higher cost of raw materials and increased shipping prices,” said Arthur Berberian, president of Zander-Greg.
The increase goes into effect on Feb. 28.
