The new line commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Leaf by Oscar brand, which started out as a house blend for company co-founder “Island” Jim Robinson’s Leaf & Bean retails stores in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The new release is made up of a Cameroon-seed wrapper grown on the Eiroa farms in Honduras, along with binder and filler tobaccos that the company describes as “other Honduran tobacco of undisclosed origins.”

It’s another TAA exclusive from CLE that comes in the 11/18 size, but this one is very different.

The new line is made with a tobacco called Pinareño, a Cuban-seed tobacco not normally grown by the Eiroa family due in large part to its susceptibility to disease and the difficulty that comes with cultivating it. 

The third entry in Camacho’s Factory Unleashed Series is the same 6 x 50 vitola as the previous two incarnations and is made with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper.

General Cigar Co.’s Punch brand is no stranger to Honduras, but the Golden Era comes from a different factory than the rest of the line.
