Effective May 1, 2022, Miami Cigar & Co. will increase prices across its portfolio by an average of 6 percent. The company has its own brands like Don Lino and Tatiana and is also the U.S. distributor for La Aurora and Barrel Aged by Karl Malone.

“Over the last five years, Miami Cigar has done everything in its power to absorb, to the detriment of our company, the increased costs of doing business, knowing full well the effect increased costs would have on you, our patrons,” said Jason Wood, vp of Miami Cigar & Co., in a letter to retailers. “Unfortunately, at the rate at which costs for materials, labor, and overhead are increasing, this model is no longer tenable for the company. After carefully analyzing costs in the multiple facets of our industry, we are writing to inform you of a necessary price increase.”
