For the fourth consecutive year, Plasencia Cigars will release a limited edition cigar that celebrates the Chinese New Year.

The Plasencia Year of the Dragon is a 6 1/4 x 54 torpedo extra that is made entirely of tobacco grown by the Plasencia family in Nicaragua. The MSRP is set at $45 per cigar, and production is limited to 3,000 boxes of 10 cigars.

Plasencia says it expects to begin shipping the cigars to retailers in the U.S. in late February.

“The dragon is an animal that perfectly represents our family’s drive for excellence,” said Nestor Andrés Plasencia, ceo of Plasencia Cigars, in a press release. “We look forward to celebrating the Chinese New Year with the public via this special offering.”
