The new line marks the first time that LH Cigars has released a cigar incorporating a Mexican San Andrés wrapper.

The new line features multiple uses of Spanish cedar in the aging of the tobacco and the packaging of the cigars.

The 6 1/8 x 55 toro gordos were aged for five years in rooms lined with different cedar and French oak at the Tabacos de Costa Rica S.A. factory.

The 6 x 58 short salomones vitola pays homage to the Greek heritage of company founder Nicholas Syris.

This 6 1/2 x 56 toro gordo uses a different blend than Lampert’s previous Limitada releases. It will get a full launch at PCA 2024.

The Alfonso Gran Selección is described as a darker version of the Alfonso Extra Añejo. Given that the Extra Añejo was #1 on halfwheel’s Top 25 of 2022, the bar has been set very high.

More than two years after the Atabey Black Ritos was announced as an NFT, you can now smoke the cigar.

Like the Alfonso Extra Añejo and Byron 1850, this line was aged for a total of five years in rooms that were lined with either Spanish cedar of French oak. The Gran Selección is described as a darker follow-up to the Extra Añejo, which was halfwheel’s #1 cigar of 2022.

Interestingly, United Cigars says this will be the final release of both the Bandolero Firecracker and The Wise Man Maduro Firecracker.

The new limited edition has been aged for twice as long as the company’s normal Dioses cigar.

Selected Tobacco S.A. is calling this a follow-up to the Alfonso Añejo, but with a “darker flavor profile.”
