At next month’s InterTabac 2024 trade fair in Dortmund, Germany, Lampert will introduce the fourth size of its Oro line.

The Lampert Oro Kingpin is a new 4 x 62 double perfecto. Blend-wise, it uses an Ecuadorian criollo wrapper over an Ecuadorian habano 2000 binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Peru. Lampert says that all of the tobaccos were aged for five years before the cigars are rolled at Tabacos de Costa Rica.

It has an MSRP of $18 and comes in boxes of 10 cigars.

Despite its short size, Lampert says the cigar is made to be smoked for more than one hour.

This is the fourth size for the line:

  • Lampert Oro El Gringo (5 x 50)
  • Lampert Oro Don Patron (6 x 52)
  • Lampert Oro Gatsby (6 x 52)
  • Lampert Oro Kingpin (4 x 62)

InterTabac 2024 takes place Sept. 19-21, 2024. It is the largest trade show that attracts a sizeable cigar industry contingent, though the trade show also has companies that sell e-cigarettes, vaping products, cigarettes, pipe tobacco, rolling tobacco, tobacco and vape manufacturing, as well as a separate marijuana-focused trade show. It is geared as an international trade show, attracting distributors from all over the world, though very few, if any U.S. retailers attend.

Lampert says the new Kingpin vitola will be ready to ship immediately following InterTabac 2024. While it is debuting at InterTabac, it will be sold at select retailers in the U.S.
