Plasencia Cigars

It’s a new figurado for the Alma del Fuego line, and will only be available at a select group of retailers across the country.

The name of the cigar is spelled احتفال in Arabic, which translates to celebration.

Depending on the line, the increases range between 7-9 percent.

The Cortez is a new 5 3/4 x 56 figurado version for Plasencia’s Alma del Fuego line. Unlike most TAA exclusives, this will be a regular production cigar.

This is the third consecutive year Plasencia 1865 has made a cigar in celebration of the Chinese Zodiac calendar.

In 2021, Plasencia 1865 commemorated the family’s 149th harvest of tobacco with a new line, and after a year of rest, the cigar shows it was worth the celebration.

The Ehtëfal will debut in Doha on Nov. 19, one day before the start of the 2022 World Cup.

Spoiler alert: the new size doesn’t get the hexagonal press that the first release did.

The new 6 1/4 x 54 size is the second vitola for the Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro line. It is highlighted by a 10-year-old wrapper grown in Jalapa, Nicaragua.
