The new 6 1/4 x 54 size is the second vitola for the Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro line. It is highlighted by a 10-year-old wrapper grown in Jalapa, Nicaragua.

There have been more than a half dozen different INCH blends released over the years, but the INCH Nicaragua is the first one to be made outside of E.P. Carrillo’s own factory in the Dominican Republic. For this release, Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Estelí is making the line.

Earlier this year, Maya Selva Cigars added a lancero to its Cumpay line, which is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobaccos.

Ferio Tego’s first exclusive release for the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) is the Timeless TAA 2022, which the company says was inspired by the Nat Sherman Timeless TAA that was released in March 2020.

Plasencia 1865 is back at the PCA Convention & Trade Show this year, not only with a larger booth but also with a new vitola in its Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro line.
