In December, Altadis U.S.A. will release a new Romeo y Julieta line called Envy.

It’s a follow-up of sorts to the Romeo y Julieta Eternal, which the company released last year. Both cigars were made at the Plasencia Cigars S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. According to a report from Cigar Aficionado, the Envy is debuting in a 6 x 55 parejo cigar called Amulet that is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobaccos. It has an MSRP of $17.50 per cigar and will come in boxes of 11. Production is limited to 100,000 cigars or roughly 9,090 boxes.

An official for Altadis U.S.A. told halfwheel a press release would be sent to other media outlets tomorrow.

Update (Nov. 2, 2022) — The company issued a press release confirming the details of the cigar, as well as images, which have been added to the story. Additionally, the story has been clarified to indicate that the line is called Envy, and the vitola is called Amulet.
