This week, Prometheus will be shipping a new size for its Sencillo Black line.

The Sencillo Black Lancero is a 7 1/2 x 38 lancero, made entirely of Nicaraguan tobaccos at Plasencia Cigars S.A. Keith K. Park, Prometheus’ owner, told halfwheel that the company received the cigars at the end of 2022 but opted to hold off shipping to allow the cigars further time to rest.

Each cigar has an MSRP of $10.25 and the Sencillo Black Lancero comes in boxes of 25 cigars.

Park says that this will be a limited but ongoing production with the aim of releasing the cigar in batches two or three times per year.

There are two different Sencillo blends, the Black—made in Nicaragua—and the Platinum, made in Honduras. Prometheus also owns and sells the God of Fire and Angelenos brands.
