Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, Inc. has announced that it will be increasing the prices for some of its lines, effective April 1, 2024. In a letter sent to retailers, Rocky Patel said the changes were being made “due to increased costs associated with the production, tobacco, and transportation of our products.”

Around 40 percent of the company’s lines will increase, with the increases ranging from 3-5 percent. The lines that will have a price increase are as follows:

  • Decade — 5 Percent
  • Edición Unica — 5 Percent
  • Grand Reserve — 5 Percent
  • LB1 — 5 Percent
  • Legends 52 by Ray Lewis — 5 Percent
  • Number 6 — 5 Percent
  • Seed to Smoke — 5 Percent
  • Sun Grown — 4 Percent
  • The Edge — 3 Percent
  • The Edge 10th Anniversary A-10 — 5 Percent
  • The Edge 20th Anniversary — 5 Percent
  • The Edge Candela — 3 Percent
  • The Edge Connecticut — 3 Percent
  • The Edge Sumatra — 3 Percent

The following lines are not increasing in price:

The company’s accessories are not increasing in price.

Most cigar companies will only adjust pricing once per year. Typically, those changes are enacted at the start of the new year, though some companies announced price increases in Q3 of last year.
