Les Fines Lames has released a trio of new silver options for its Le Petit Cigar Knife.

The Le Petit Silver Fleur de Lys features the iconic fleur-de-lis design, which has its roots in the traditional coat of arms for France. The Silver Leaves design features the geometric leaf patterns as a reference to both tobacco and cigars, while the Silver Leaves II design also features tobacco leaves while adding an outline of Cuba as a tribute to the cigar history and terroir of that country.

Each design option features a 14C28N stainless steel blade, and comes with a lifetime warranty offered by Le Petit Lames.

Pricing is set at $279 per cutter. They are currently available via the company’s website and Les Fine Lames retailers.

The Le Petit debuted in August 2019, launching as an Indiegogo campaign. It gained funding and went into production, becoming more widely available the following year. The company has since added a number of new design options both for the handle and the blade.

In July 2023, Les Fines Lames announced that it had entered into a distribution agreement with Vandermarliere Family of Cigars, which meant Oliva Cigar Co. would both sell and distribute the brand’s products in the United States as of September 1. Vandermarliere is also becoming an investor in Les Fines Lames, providing them with funding to help the accessory maker continue to grow in its business operations and develop new products, among other things.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
