La Palina Announces Price Increase
La Palina has announced that it will be implementing a price increase on the majority of its portfolio ahead of the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show that kicks off this week.
The increase will apply across the portfolio, with the exception of the 1948 line, which was released in November 2023. One of the most notable increases applies to the Goldie line, which is getting a new size as well as a new batch of the Prominente vitola at the trade show. Those cigars will be priced at $30 each, whereas the 2023 version of the Prominente was priced at $25 per cigar.
A representative of the company did not provide detailed amounts of the increases across the company’s portfolio. However, they did say that the need for an increase is due to rising costs across the supply chain.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories.
