Despite Habanos S.A. not being in InterTabac exhibitor, the Cuban cigar monopoly is still the talk of the town. All of that might seem a bit strange, especially as non-Cuban cigars are no longer competing for Cuban cigars.

The second part of Oliva’s humidor trilogy with Elie Bleu will focus on its new tobacco processing hub, Las Mesitas. Only 124 humidors have been made, with the final part of the trilogy due next year.

Drew Estate’s aggressive push into international releases continues as the company expands distribution of the line it created with James Hetfield of Metallica and Rob Dietrich of Blackened American Whiskey. The cigars are being offered to distributors and retailers at the InterTabac 2024 trade fair in Germany this week.

Rocky Patel is moving its German distribution from Kopp Tobaccos GmbH & Co. to M. K. & Söhne. Earlier this week, Ashton announced that it was making an identical change.

The new cigar was created to celebrate Pantone’s color of the year 2024, 13-1023 Peach Fuzz. As was the case with the company’s COY 2023 last year—which celebrated Pantone’s 18-1750, Viva Magenta—there will be a total production of 24,000 cigars released.

The company known for its Cameroon wrapper is launching a new limited edition in support of cigar rights around the globe. It’s incredibly limited and will be arriving at stores in the fall.

The company is bringing these two older brands in line with its current packaging as part of its larger rebranding process. The blends and sizes aren’t changing, but two of the Cimarron lines are being discontinued.

The Undercrown 10 blend is getting a Flying Pig vitola, but it won’t be sold in the U.S. It is expected to begin shipping in November.

The new line is available in two sizes and offers a full-bodied profile that the company says is marked by licorice, black pepper, herbal tones, and sweet spice.

These are the third and fourth additions to the company’s series, which was created to honor military generals who were known for their love of tobacco. Epicurist is meant to honor General Antoine Charles Louis de Lasalle of France while the Vater honors Austrian general Field Marshal Joseph Radetzky von Radetz.
