The 2021 version of the Viaje C-4 has begun arriving at stores, this time with a second band.

This year’s version is the Viaje C-4 Collector’s Edition, listed as a 5 1/2 x 58 parejo. That’s a different size than the previous C-4 releases, which have been 5 x 56 box-pressed parejos. One other change is that the C-4 Collector’s Edition features a traditional covered foot, previous C-4 releases had a unique capped foot that is similar to the head of the cigar.

The MSRP is listed at $1,034 per box of 75, approximately $13.79 per cigar. Last week, a representative for Viaje declined to answer a question about whether the cigar was going to be shipping in 2021. It’s unclear what the blend is for this cigar, where it is made or how many are being released.

Previously, C-4 has been described as a Nicaraguan puro.

The Collector’s Edition designation is Viaje’s way of saying that this cigar—in this particular size and blend—will only be released once. Viaje has used the Collector’s Edition label for a variety of other lines but this is the first time C-4 has been listed as a Collector’s Edition.

It is shipping to retailers alongside the Viaje TNT 2021, which is a 6 1/2 x 56 vitola and also has an MSRP of $1,034 per box of 75.
