Viaje’s TNT will return in 2021, this time in a slightly larger size.

The company posted to its social that the 2021 version of TNT would measure 6 1/2 x 56. Previously, TNT has been a 6 1/4 x 54 parejo with a covered foot and an extra-long pigtail seemingly to mimic the appearance of a stick of dynamite, an explosive commonly confused with TNT. On social media, the company also said that it would be available in its traditional packaging form, a crate of 75 cigars, also helping to keep with the theme.

Per invoices sent to retailer, the MSRP is listed at $1,034 per box of 75, approximately $13.79 per cigar.

Beyond that, not much is known about the cigar. In an email, a spokesperson for Viaje declined to answer any questions asked by halfwheel about the upcoming release.

TNT debuted in 2010, originally made at Raíces Cubanas in Honduras, though the 2015 version was made at PDR Cigars. There did not appear to be a 2020 version of the cigar though it was released as recently as 2019.

Update (June 28, 2021) — Added pricing info.
