Vector-KGM has released a new collection of ultraviolet, or UV, colorways for two of the lighters in its ICON series, the ICON I and ICON IV.

Both the ICON I and ICON IV have added the following five double-sided, scratch-resistant, UV prints:

  • Prizm Waves
  • Granite Crackle
  • Turquoise Marble
  • Orange Turquoise Waves
  • Turquoise Black Spades

Vector’s Icon line is best known for its sensor-touch ignition and its USB charging port, while offering several flame configurations within the line. The ICON I is an inline triple-flame torch priced at $90, while the ICON IV is a wide flat flame that comes priced at $95. Of note about the ICON IV, it has been reworked since its original release, as the company found that the flame was underpowered, so it has addressed the issue causing that.

Both lighters measure 3.32 x 1.53 x .68 inches and are guaranteed to work at altitudes up to 10,000 feet, per the company.

The new color options are now available for both retailers and consumers to order, and they come with Vector-KGM’s no-proof warranty.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
