Just about a month ago, Vector-KGM announced that it was adding five new UV colorways for its ICON I and ICON IV lighters, two of the models in its line known for its touch-sensitive ignition panel. Now, the company has announced that it has four more colors that it will be releasing early in the new year.

The ICON I is an inline triple-flame torch priced at $90, while the ICON IV is a wide flat flame that comes priced at $95, with both models backed by the company’s no-proof warranty. Of note about the ICON IV, it has been reworked since its original release, as the company found that the flame was underpowered, so it has addressed the issue causing that. Both lighters measure 3.32 x 1.53 x .68 inches and are guaranteed to work at altitudes up to 10,000 feet, per the company.

Both models are adding the same four color options, with the pattern printed on both sides of the lighters:

  • Gold Navy Blue Waves
  • Pink Blue Crackle
  • Native Turquoise
  • Black Tan Ripple

The four newest color options are scheduled to be available in January, while the first five color options are currently available. The company has also added UV colorways to its Bishop lighter.

Update (Dec. 3, 2023) — Today the company announced that the four new UV color options are now slated to be released in mid-December. The company made that update as part of its announcement of four new UV print options for the Bishop line.

Update — Shortly after the article about the Bishop’s new colors was published, the company confirmed that the ICON I and ICON IV in the four new color ways will ship on Monday, Dec. 4, while they will be available in the Bishop line on Friday, Dec. 8.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
