Tatuaje has begun shipping the new Tatuaje Havana VI Verocú Blue.

Yesterday, Pete Johnson, the company’s founder, announced that the newest version of the Verocú VI was heading to stores. The new line is offered in the same two sizes as the original Verocú Havana VI line, the one that uses a red band. It is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobaccos grown by the García family of My Father, including a corojo 99 rosado wrapper, the same one that is now used for the Escasos cigars. The original Verocú blend is also a Nicaraguan puro.

While the Havana VI Verocú Blend is a regular production line that will continue to be sold in 20-count boxes, the company is also releasing 200 boxes of 50 cigars, a nod to the original Verocús, which were originally offered in 50-count boxes as regional editions in 2007.

  • Tatuaje Havana VI Verocú Blue No.1 (6 1/4 x 52) — $12 (Box of 20, $240; Box of 50, $600)
  • Tatuaje Havana VI Verocú Blue No.2 (5 1/2 x 54)  — $12 (Box of 20, $240; Box of 50, $600)
