De Los Reyes

Created to commemorate the brand’s fifth anniversary in business, this cigar is a 5 1/2 x 58 box-pressed vitola with a small pigtail on the cap. Like all of Casa de Sueños cigars, this limited edition of 3,600 cigars was made by De Los Reyes in the Dominican Republic.

There once was a roller at the De Los Reyes factory named Juan. He was the only one capable of rolling this particular petit perfecto vitola.

There’s Connecticut broadleaf seed tobacco in the filler, but it’s grown in the Dominican Republic. The wrapper is a habano-seed that is grown in central Pennsylvania.

In 2014, De Los Reyes introduced the Don Julio Punta Espada to pay tribute to Julio Samuel Reyes Fermin. Now, the second Don Julio line is shipping to stores.

A decade after introducing the Don Julio Punta Espada, the Don Julio brand will get a new line: Sang Bleu.

According to the zodiac calendar, Nirka Reyes Estrella, ceo of De Los Reyes, is a dragon.

Topper Cigar says it is the oldest continuously-operated, family-owned cigar company in the U.S. This year marks its 130th year in business.

Update: It’s called The 5th.

The Juancito vitola, named after a cigar roller, has been on sale in Patoro’s home market of Switzerland for more than a decade.

Billy Gibbons Cigar Co. includes premium cigars made by Debonaire House and a trio of mass-market cigars.

The company is trying to keep the focus on the wrapper as much as possible.
