The blend showcases filler tobaccos from regions of the Dominican Republic that haven’t been actively farmed since the 1970s, but recently came back online. Díaz calls this cigar one of the best blends he has ever created.

The new limited edition features tobacco from a lesser-known region in the Dominican Republic that has recently resumed growing the crop. It’s an area that Díaz says produces a stronger tobacco with a creamier smoke due to its elevation and pH levels in the soil.

It’s the second cigar to be released this year for Arango’s portfolio that uses a nickname for Chicago.

Eladio Díaz is famous for his birthday cigars, now they are produced by his own factory.

It’s the first regular production line in the noted cigar maker’s portfolio.

The original Perfecto Garcia became was as a Clear Havana cigar in Chicago during the early 20th century. Today, the brand is sold by Arango Cigar Co., also of Chicago.

The design is inspired by the same philosophy that is represented by the yin and yang symbol.

After being slated as a European exclusive, the Eladio Diaz 70 is now available in the U.S.

Arango Cigar Co. carries more than just cigars, and this year the new releases from the company come in the form of fresh designs for some of their pipe lighters.

Gold, president of Arango Cigar Co., has been in the business for more than 40 years. He replaces Alan Rubin, who resigned his seat following the sale of Alec Bradley to STG.

Arango Cigar Co. has commissioned a cigar from Rocky Patel to pay tribute to their Chicago-area roots, and it is debuting here at the show.
