AGANORSA Leaf’s Supreme Leaf line will be starting 2025 with a new size, as the company announced the addition of the Royal Perfecto, a 5 1/2 x 52 figurado that will be released in the early part of the new year.

The all-Nicaraguan blend remains the same as the other sizes, with all of the tobacco coming from AGANORSA Leaf’s farms. It comes in boxes of 10 cigars and is priced at $14 per cigar. The company is limiting the release to 2,500 boxes.

“Demand for Supreme Leaf continues to grow and we are committed to releasing the same incredible blend in a new format with each release to showcase how each size creates a unique experience,” said Terence Reilly, vp of sales and marketing for AGANORSA Leaf, via a press release. “The last Supreme Leaf Perfecto we launched in 2023 was a massive hit because of the distinctive complexity of flavor and aroma the tapered form offered.”

He went on to say that fans of the Supreme Leaf line requested the experience of the original 6 x 54 perfecto in a shorter format, which led to the creation of the Royal Perfecto. The size is designed to offer a subtle and focused first third before transitioning to a richer and full-bodied middle section, while the final third tapers back down and concentrates the flavors once again.

The Royal Perfecto will be available for retailers to order in January; Reilly told halfwheel the goal is to have the cigars on store shelves in late February or early March.

This marks the 10th size in the line, which debuted in March 2020:

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
