One of the first new cigars announced in 2024 will begin heading to stores this week.

AGANROSA Leaf says it will begin shipping the new Supreme Leaf Rothschild (4 1/2 x 50) to stores tomorrow. Like the rest of the line, it is a Nicaraguan puro that uses a corojo 99 wrapper. The MSRP has been set at $9.99 per cigar, and this shipment is limited to 2,800 boxes of 20 cigars though if other Supreme Leaf vitolas are any indication, there’s likely to be subsequent production runs at future dates.

Note: The following shows the various Supreme Leaf vitolas. Some of these cigars may have been released after this post was originally published. The list was last updated on April 26, 2024.

This is actually the ninth size for the line. In between the time that AGANORSA Leaf announced this cigar in early January and now, it released a 5 x 56 Gran Robusto size as an exclusive for Wooden Indian Tobacco Shop of Havertown, Pa.

“The vast majority of the vitolas released in Supreme Leaf have been between five and six inches long and 52-54 ring,” said Terence Reilly, vp of sales and marketing for AGANORSA Leaf, in a January press release. “This latest vitola is a bit shorter and a bit thinner. A Rothschild is a classic size and the blend gains a more robust flavor without a loss of balance in this format.”

AGANORSA Leaf produces the line at its factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
