For the second time in as many months, Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) is trimming its portfolio.

Last month, the cuts targeted STG’s Forged Cigar Co. portfolio, this time, the changes are mostly General Cigar Co. brands. Included in this round of cuts are three lines:

  • CAO OSA Sol
  • CAO Session
  • Diesel Grind

Furthermore, individual vitolas are being axed as well:

  • CAO Cameroon Churchill
  • Hoyo La Amistad Dark Sumatra Espresso
  • Hoyo La Amistad Dark Sumatra Robusto
  • Hoyo La Amistad Gold Rothschild

STG sells dozens of different brands in the U.S., ranging from the non-Cuban versions of Cohiba and Partagas to Alec Bradley, CAO, Macanudo, Room101 and others. The company splits its portfolio of brands between two separate sales teams: General Cigar Co. and Forged Cigar Co.
