Press Release: Smoke Inn Announces Quesada Oktoberfest Dunkel

September 3, 2013 — Smoke Inn has once again teamed up with a manufacturer for our seventh installment of our highly regarded Microblend SeriesTM. Smoke Inn together with Manuel Quesada of Quesada Cigars are proud to present the world a very special limited version of Quesada Cigars’ highly acclaimed annual Oktoberfest, the “Dunkel.” Dunkel, the German word for dark, typically is used to describe dark German lager.

In the spirit of Oktoberfest, the Dunkel uses the same binders and fillers of the regular Oktoberfest release, with the exception of the wrapper. A very select broadleaf maduro wrapper envelops this rich cigar with a slight underlying Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper at the foot, thus giving the appearance of a dark rich Dunkel beer with a savory foamy head.

The unique experience of smoking one wrapper, then 2 wrappers, and then one wrapper again give this Oktoberfest a unique complex flavor while maintaining that core flavor of Oktoberfest that fans across the world have grown to love.

The Oktoberfest Dunkel will have a National Release Party on Friday September 20th at Smoke Inn’s Pompano Beach location from 3:00pm – 8:00pm. Total Production is 750 (15 count) boxes. The 6×54 Cigar will retail for $8.95 a stick, $134.25/ box.
