While three of the five vitolas in the new line are regular production, the lancero and box-pressed toro are limited editions. The box-pressed toros were made exclusively for retail members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA).

Sisters Raquel and Patricia have acquired ownership stakes in the company and are now leading the company’s operations. As part of the changes, the company is now entirely owned by Manolo Quesada and his family.

The new line will consist of five different vitolas: three regular production sizes and two limited edition vitolas. The two limited sizes are a box-pressed toro made exclusively for retail members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) and a lancero.

This year mark a significant anniversary for Quesada Cigars: the company celebrated 50 years in the cigar business. As would be expected, the Dominican cigar manufacturer released a limited edition cigar line to commemorate the occasion.

For the fourth year in a row, Quesada’s annual Oktoberfest release uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. In addition to the three core sizes, the Kaiser Ludwig and Kugel vitolas are available or 2024.

In 2022, Manuel “Manolo” Quesada Jr. celebrated his 75th birthday, a celebration that included the release of a new limited-edition cigar. After receiving just over 18 months of rest, and approaching the two-year-mark since its release, it’s time to revisit the double corona that celebrated the noted cigarmaker’s birthday.

The cigar, formerly known as the Casa Magna Liga F TAA Exclusive 2023, is now available to all retailers as a regular production item.

The limited edition line includes a 6 1⁄4 x 56 Toro Prensado with an MSRP of $17, and a 6 x 60 Perfecto with an MSRP of $19 each.

Quesada is bringing back the Kaiser Ludwig and Kugel sizes for 2024. That means that consumers will have five different sizes of Oktoberfest to choose from this summer.

Don’t call it a comeback.
