The limited edition features a revised blend of the one found on the event-only Pataperro. Specifically, a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper and the shape of the cigar makes it considerably stronger, according to Steve Saka.

This is the first box-pressed vitola in the company’s Black line. The blend remains the same as the previous two sizes that were introduced last year: a Mexican San Andrés wrapper covering an Ecuadorian habano binder and a filler blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos.

The Black Works Studio Killer Bee Perfecto was one of the six vitolas included in the 2021 The Hive samplers. Now, it’s back under a new name as a Smoke Inn exclusive.

The first cigars will go to attendees of the Red Meat Lovers dinner at The Great Smoke in March 2025. The cigars will then reappear at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show in mid-April.

The Mi Querida Green line has been in the works for several years, and is currently only available as an event-only giant robusto. That will change in the coming months when the South Florida retailer gets the first torpedo in any of the Mi Querida lines.
