Powstanie Wojtek 2020 Ships
The second Powstanie Wojtek is off to stores.
Earlier this week, the company began shipping the new Powstanie Wojtek 2020, a 6 x 52 toro. It uses the same blend as the original Wojtek: an Ecuadorian habano wrapper with Mexican San Andés barberpole accents over an Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan fillers.
It is priced at $13 and limited to 500 boxes of 21.
Wojtek is a reference to a famous Syrian brown bear that was purchased as a young cub by Polish soldiers. The bear was enlisted in the Polish army and eventually learned how to carry ammo during World War II.
The cigar debuted last year in a 5 x 50 perfecto.
