Powstanie Connecticut Heading to Stores Tomorrow

The Powstanie Connecticut will begin shipping to stores tomorrow.

Pospiech, Inc., which distributes the brand, will begin shipping the new line tomorrow. The first time consumers can try the cigar will likely be at a launch event on Saturday, Aug. 19, at Secreto Cigar Bar in Ferndale, Mich. Blend-wise, the Powstanie Connecticut uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut over a Pennsylvania broadleaf binder and fillers from Nicaragua. Like the other cigars in the Powstanie portfolio, it is made at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Nicaragua.

There are four sizes, each offered in a box of 21:

• Powstanie Connecticut Toro (6 x 52) — $12 (Box of 21, $252)
• Powstanie Connecticut Robusto (5 x 50) — $11.20 (Box of 21, $235.20)
• Powstanie Connecticut Perfecto (5 x 50) — $11.20 (Box of 21, $235.20)
• Powstanie Connecticut Belicoso (5 1/2 x 54) — $11.40 (Box of 21, $239.40)

This is the first new regular production line for the company since 2015, its first year in business.
