Powstanie has begun shipping the newest version of its Powstanie Connecticut blend, a corona gorda called Justice.

The cigar measures 5 1/2 x 46 and has an MSRP of $13.50. Like the rest of the Powstanie Connecticut blend—which debuted last year—Justice uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper over a Pennsylvania broadleaf binder and fillers from Nicaragua. It is made at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Nicaragua.

Interestingly, a version of this cigar was released more than a decade ago under a different name. That initial release was known as ApolloDani, a very limited edition cigar made for the birth of the middle child of Mike Szczepankiewicz, co-founder of Powstanie.

“When working with a factory, I highly recommend you work with a factory that actually keeps records of your blends from close to a decade ago and can recreate that blend to a T,” said Szczepankiewicz in a press release.

Szczepankiewicz said that the Powstanie Connecticut line, which is the company’s third regular blend, was based on the ApolloDani.
