Quality Importers Trading Co. has announced another sub-$10 lighter for its Palió brand.

The Palió Siena is a single jet lighter that uses a popular design of a pushdown torch jet paired with a plastic body with a visible fuel tank. At the bottom of the lighter is a large adjustment wheel designed to allow for easier flame adjustments. It measures 1.65 inches wide x 1.25 inches in diameter and 3.53 inches tall, which is larger than the Palió Vesuvio, a triple flame lighter that is also priced at $8.99 and looks quite similar.

Quality Importers said that the large flame will allow for “up to 100 cigars” to be lit in between fill-ups.

The MSRP is set at $8.99 and it is offered in five colors: clear, smoke, red, blue, and amber yellow.

It will be shown off at next month’s 2021 PCA Convention & Trade Show and will begin shipping to retailers later that month. Retailers will be sent the lighters in 20-count self-shipper displays that contain four lighters of each color.

Update (June 21, 2021) — Quality Importers Trading Co. has sent a correction, updating the dimensions of the Siena lighter to slightly larger dimensions in all three measuring aspects. This story has been updated to reflect those changes.
