La Palina’s contribution to the Tobacconists’ Association of America Exclusive Series is on its way to TAA member stores, as today the company announced the shipping of the La Palina Silver Label.
The La Palina Silver Label features a Honduran habano wrapper, Costa Rican binder, and fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras and Costa Rica. It’s a blend that came about due to requests from retailers for a fuller bodied, stronger blend from the company. La Palina calls Silver Label the fullest blend it has released to date.
It comes in a single, 6 x 52 toro vitola, priced at $9.99 per cigar and offered in 20-count boxes. With the El Paraiso factory in Danlí, Honduras handling production, the company produced just 1,000 boxes for a total of 20,000 cigars to be split up among the nearly 80 TAA members.
