There’s a new Edición Regional release getting ready to go on the shelves of Swiss retailers next week, the La Gloria Cubana Orgullosos.
It comes in the popular 109 vitola, a 7 1/4 x 50 double robusto that features rounded shoulders and a figurado style head. It’s a size made popular by the classic Partagás 109 and reinvigorated by the Edmundo Dantes Conde 109, an Edición Regional for Mexico that was released in 2007. It’s also the second time that the shape has been used for a Swiss regional edition, joining the Punch Clasicos from 2011.
The cigar comes in 10-count boxes, with 6,000 boxes being produced for a total run of 60,000 cigars. Individual cigars are priced at 29 Swiss Francs ($28.89) while boxes are 290 CHF ($289.90).
The La Gloria Cubana Orgullosos will be released to the country’s La Casa del Habano locations on Nov. 14, and then head to Habanos Specialist shops on Nov. 21.
