Joya de Nicaragua has taken two of its Numero Uño vitolas and placed them inside a special humidor that will ship to stores next month.

The Número Uno Deluxe Humidor Limited Edition is decorated in the bright blue color synonymous with the Número Uno packaging. Inside each humidor will be 150 cigars:

Each humidor will have an MSRP of $2,850, and it is limited to 400 units, 300 of which will head to stores in the U.S., while the other 100 are reserved for international markets.

Neither of these sizes is new, and both are available outside the humidor in boxes of 25 as a limited production item. Blend-wise, the two cigars use an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan tobaccos. The L’Ambassadeur was originally known as the Joya de Nicaragua No.1, a cigar that was created to be used as diplomatic gifts for the Nicaraguan government. In 2018—as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations—Joya de Nicaragua released the cigar at select events. The No.1 ranked #1 on halfwheel’s Top 25 for 2018.

“This JDN Número Uno Deluxe Humidor was created for our amigos, the real cigar connoisseurs,” said Juan Ignacio Martínez, executive president of Joya de Nicaragua, in a press release. “This is the piece that every Joya de Nicaragua lover should have in their sacred space. This humidor will become the crowning jewel in any cigar collection. It is a beautiful and functional piece that will show off your authentic love of cigars.”
