After launching its first line in March, League of Fat Bastards is releasing its second line this week. While Serie L was blended to appeal to all types of cigar smokers, Serie O is for those wanting a bolder and more complex blend.

Most of the time, a regional exclusive means creating a new vitola for a specific country. In this case, Joya added Brazilian mata fine tobacco to the Antaño’s filler blend.

TAA 2024 begins on Sunday and Joya de Nicaragua’s new exclusive for the Tobacconists’ Association of America will be on shelves before the end of the week. It’s a 6 x 60 version of the company’s 55th anniversary cigar.

In 2022, Joya de Nicaragua released the Antaño Pata Negra. Last year, the company released the Clásico Medio Siglo Pata Negra. Now, it’s shipping the Antaño Gran Reserva Pata Negra. While they each are a different blend, all three cigars measure 5 x 56 and are only sold in Spain.

The Joya de Nicaragua Cabinetta Serie No. 13 is now simply known as the Joya Cabinetta Lancero. After an eight-year hiatus, the 7 1/2 x 38 size returned to shelves this year as a limited edition release.

The Antaño 1970 becomes the Antaño Original as part of the new packaging designs, but the blends all remain the same.

The Joya de Nicaragua Clásico Medio Siglo was introduced in 2021. This summer, it will be offered to U.S. stores in four sizes, one of which is a new size that is exclusive to American retailers.

It’s been roughly eight years since the lancero vitola was available.
