The Diesel Disciple will now be offered in a total of three sizes.

This week, Forged Cigar Co. is shipping the Diesel Disciple Toro and Torpedo. The Disciple was originally released in June 2021 as an exclusive to retailers that are members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) in a 7 x 38 lancero size. While that release was limited, Forged made the Disciple a regular production offering last year in that one size. Now, there will be three regular production sizes.

  • Diesel Disciple Lnacero (7 x 38) — $8.99 (Box of 10, $89.90)
  • Diesel Disciple Toro (6 1/4 x 52) — $9.99 (Box of 10, $99.90)
  • Diesel Disciple Torpedo (6 1/2 x 54) — $10.49 (Box of 10, $104.90)

Blend-wise, the Disciple uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan habano fillers. Like the rest of the Diesel brand, it is made by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua.

“We decided to launch two new sizes of Diesel Disciple this year because the blend has gotten such a strong endorsement from the retail community,” said Justin Andrews, business development manager of Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s (STG) North American Branded and Rest of World divisions, in a press release. “They love the blend and the packaging and often tell us that Disciple smokes like a $20 cigar for half the price. We’re looking forward to rolling out the new formats and will continue to expand the line according to demand from retailers and cigar smokers.”
