The cigar names for the shape of a pencil is getting its third blend variation.

Here’s what happened during Day 2 of TPE 2017.

TPE has a new name, a bigger show floor and plenty of new releases from premium cigar companies.

Fratello is expanding its Camo series of bundle cigars by adding two new sizes to each line. In a very unique move, the two new sizes will be made at a different factory than the original two sizes.

This will be the third blend to receive the unique Diamond Press shape. Unlike the rectangular press applied to most box-pressed cigars, the Diamond Press shape is more like a rhombus.

Amendola’s new The West Side Story line features a number of rarities. The cigars are made in New York City and each box contains two different blends.

Jeremy McDonald’s Wildfire Cigar Co. is adding a new limited edition and a new regular production line at TPE 2023. Both blends are made at Fábrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. in Danlí, Honduras.

This new pocket-friendly, high-powered torch lighter is ready to ship to retailers.

Now in its sixth year of business, the company is finally getting to celebrate its first five years.

The line is described as an ode to the globalization of the cigar industry and its smokers.

The line returns after a hiatus of nearly four years, and now becomes a regular production part of the company’s portfolio.
