Fratello is doubling the number of bundle SKUs it offers by adding two new sizes to each of its existing four bundle lines.

Currently, Fratello offers four Camo bundle blends—Connecticut, Habano, Maduro and Connecticut Sweet—in robusto and toro sizes made by La Aurora in the Dominican Republic. Those four blends and the two sizes will remain.

However, Fratello is adding a 7 x 52 Churchill and 6 x 60 gordo size to each line, but those cigars will be made at a different factory in a different country.

The Fratello Camo Nicaragua cigars will be made at Estelí Cigars, the Nicaraguan factory owned by Karen Berger. Omar de Frias, Fratello’s founder, told halfwheel that the four Camo Nicaragua blends are as close to the ones that La Aurora makes, though not identical. Fratello has not disclosed the blends for any of the bundle cigars.

Regardless of blend or size, the Camo Nicaragua cigars will be with an MSRP of $4.20 per cigar or $105 per bundle of 25 cigars.

“I’m really excited about working with Karen Berger and her team in Esteli Cigars,” said de Frias in a press release. “With her wealth of experience in this industry and the amazing tobaccos they work with, the Camo Nicaragua line will be a complete success.”

Fratello will debut the Camo Nicaragua bundles at this week’s TPE 2023 trade show in Las Vegas and expects to ship the cigars on April 1.

“This is the first time working with Omar and Fratello on a project,” said Karen Berger, owner of Estelí Cigars, in a press release. “I believe we created something unique to complement his Camo line now but packed with the flavor of Nicaragua tobacco.”

Update (Aug. 2, 2023) — Fratello has since clarified the price is $4.20 per cigar, not the $2.10 that was originally announced.
