ACE Prime Cigars Adds German Distribution
ACE Prime Cigars has announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Dalay Zigarren that will bring the company’s portfolio to Germany in the coming weeks.
Under the agreement, Dalay Zigarren will begin distributing the ACE Prime portfolio, which includes the M.X.S. brand, a line that features collaborations with former professional basketball players Dominique Wilkins and Tiago Splitter, as well a new project with former professional baseball player Adriàn Gónzalez. It also includes the Luciano line, which is offered in The Traveler and The Dreamer. Additionally, it includes the Pichardo Cigars brand, which features the Pichardo Maduro, Pichardo Clasico, Reserva Familiar Connecticut, Reserva Familiar Habano and Reserva Familiar San Andrés.
“We were immediately impressed with ACE Prime Cigars and thoroughly enjoyed our unique experience with master blender Luciano Meirelles,” said Salih Dalay, owner and founder of Dalay Zigarren, via a press release. “The whole ACE Prime range is outstanding – they have a superior quality product, and we are very excited to distribute these cigars in Germany,” he added.
In the case of the Luciano The Traveler, a second batch is currently being aged with plans to be launched in December. The first batch was an exclusive to the United States, with just under 25,000 cigars produced. The Traveler Exclusive Europe will be a release of 60,000 cigars.
Additionally, the agreement calls for an exclusive signature series to be developed by Tabacalera Pichardo specifically for Dalay Zigarren. A timeline for the release of those cigars has not yet been finalized, though Meirelles told halfwheel that the process has advanced to evaluating several test blends.
“We have a common vision about the future of our premium cigar family and our values and goals are aligned,” said Meirelles via a press release. “We’ve already received a lot of support from publications and cigars experts across the globe, and we are truly excited to expand into Europe.”
In addition to its cigar distribution business, Dalay Zigarren is also the owner of the La Casa del Habano in Saarbrücken, Germany, as well as another retail shop under the Dalay Zigarren name.
ACE Prime Cigars is distributed by Crowned Heads in the United States.
