Quality Imports Trading Co. has announced that two existing XIKAR cutters with updated versions are now available to stores worldwide.

The XIKAR VX2 G10 V-Cutter is a trio of new finishes for the VX2 v-cutter that XIKAR introduced in 2017. The new versions use G10, a glass fiber resin that Quality Importers said is known for its toughness. The VX2 uses the reverse v-cut blade, meaning that the two sides of the v-cutter contact the cigar before the middle point of the v-cutter. It is capable of cutting cigars up to 64-ring gauge and features a lock that can be opened with a finger.

There are three new finishes: Blue/Black, Gray/Black and Red/Black. Each has an MSRP of $89.99.

In addition, the company has announced that the XIKAR Perfect Xi1 cutter is now shipping to stores worldwide. The Perfect Xi1 takes the company’s iconic Xi1 double guillotine cutter but adds a backplate, which helps to ensure the user does not remove too much of the cigar.

The Xi1 was introduced last year but had an exclusive soft launch at Smoke Inn, a South Florida-based retailer.

It has an MSRP of $84.99 and is offered in four colors: black, blue, red and silver.
