It sounds like a Frank Sinatra song, but it’s a new cigar from Oscar Valladares & Co.

My Way by Bayron Duarte is a new line created by the master blender for the Honduran factory, and it’s slated to make its official debut at the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

The line uses Honduran tobacco for the binder, with a leaf coming from the Olancho region, as well as in the filler, where it is paired with Nicaraguan leaves. On top is a wrapper leaf of Mexican origin.

The line is being released in four sizes:

  • My Way by Bayron Duarte Gordito (4 x 60)
  • My Way by Bayron Duarte HD (7 x 66)
  • My Way by Bayron Duarte Sixty (6 x 60)
  • My Way by Bayron Duarte Toro Grande (6 x 54)

Just 1,000 boxes are being made, each holding 20 cigars. The company did not respond to an email as to how many boxes of each size were being made, the MSRPs of the four sizes, or when they will begin shipping.

It is being distributed by Oscar Valladares & Co.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
