Villiger Cigars North America has announced a new size for its La Libertad line that will begin shipping to stores next week.

On Monday, Feb. 5, Villiger will release the Villiger La Libertad Gordito, a 4 x 60 version of La Libertad. Villiger revamped the La Libertad brand in 2021. That included a new blend: a Nicaraguan criollo wrapper covering a binder that is grown in the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic as well as Nicaraguan fillers that include seco from Jalapa along with viso and ligero grown in Estelí. The line is produced at Villiger de Nicaragua, the company’s factory in Nicaragua.

The MSRP for the new Gordito size is $9.50 per cigar and it comes in boxes of 20.
