The Villiger Cuéllar Caribe is described as a more “refined” version of the Villiger TAA Exclusive 2021. Like that limited edition, the new Cuéllar Caribe is made at Tabacalera Palma.

This is the fifth TAA exclusive release that Villiger has released in as many years, and each of those five blends have been made a different factories. For the 2024 release, Villiger turned to Fábrica de Puros Maya Selva Cigars factory located in Danlí, Honduras.

Villiger sells a round 1888 Nicaragua Toro, though the box-pressed version is slightly thicker and limited. This release is being done in partnership with Tobacco Tactical, which will also sell the cigars directly to consumers.

Ten years after the Villiger Cuéllar Krēmē line debuted, the company added a lonsdale to the line. It launched the cigar at a fairly new trade show hosted by Quality Importers Trading Co.

One cigar is made by Villiger in Nicaragua, the other comes from ABAM in the Dominican Republic. Both have an MSRP of $20 each and are limited to just 4,000 cigars.

The second size of the Villiger 1492 Discovery Edition is already on sale in Germany and Switzerland. The Dominican cigar will not be coming to the U.S.

This year’s Villiger de Nicaragua Edición Limitada release measures 7 x 52. It’s already on sale in Germany and is expected to go on sale in the U.S. in early 2025.

The Villiger 1888 Nicaragua was one of the first new blends from the Villiger de Nicaragua factory that opened in late 2021. This 6 x 60 is one of three new vitolas for 2024.

On Thursday, May 30, Heinrich Villiger turned 94. A special cigar has been created to honor the achievement.

The new Gordito size is the fourth size for the line, which was updated in 2021.
