The third Villiger de Nicaragua Edición Limitada has gone on sale in Germany.

Last week, the Swiss company showed off the Villiger de Nicaragua Edición Limitada 2024 at the 2024 InterTabac trade fair in Dortmund, Germany. The 7 x 52 Churchill extra uses an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Mexican binder and fillers from the Estelí and Jalapa regions of Nicaraguan. As with the 2022 and 2023 versions, the cigar features packaging that depicts Mombacho, the 4,409-foot volcano located on the northwestern part of Lake Nicaragua.

It has already gone on sale in Germany, where it’s priced at €18 ($20.12) per cigar. There will be 1,200 boxes of 10 cigars released for the German and Swiss markets. This cigar will come stateside, but Villiger Cigars North America doesn’t expect to release it until early 2025.

The cigar is made at Villiger de Nicaragua, the company’s factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, which is a joint project with Joya de Nicaragua.
