Villiger Cigars has announced new distributors to the countries north and south of the United States.

Brigham Enterprises, Inc. will be the company’s distributor for Canada. Brigham has previously distributed Villiger’s mass market portfolio, but will now also have its premium cigars. The company also distributes Crowned Heads, La Flor Dominicana, Tabacalera and others, as well its own eponymous line of pipes.

Casa Turrent will become the company’s distributor for Mexico. It will take on the premium cigars first with plans for the machine made products in late 2018. Casa Turrent is part of the Turrent family operations which includes cigars by the same name as well as a massive growing operation of Mexican tobacco.

“As with the Villiger family, the Turrent family and Brigham Enterprises, each possess very strong historical ties in their respective countries of origin, and we look forward to working alongside them to spread the Villiger brand, to a broader consumer base,” said Heinrich Villiger, chairman of Villiger, in a press release.
