Vector-KGM has announced an updated version of its Sonicpump tabletop lighter with some internal improvements as well as new colors.
The Sonicpump was introduced in 2017 as a sister product to the company’s Quadpump table lighter. It has a unique-looking metal body that has three prominent cylindrical shapes: the large body of the lighter, another one that runs parallel that serves as the handle, and a third that runs perpendicular and houses the flame mechanism.
As for this updated version, it has a larger wide flame that the company says creates a more even flame. Both the original and updated versions use a single wide flame, whereas the similar-looking Quadflame uses four smaller angled flames.
In addition, the lighters have a removable punch cutter that has three different size punches as well as a draw poker. That attaches magnetically to the bottom of the lighter.
It will be offered in four colors: copper satin, dark gray crackle matte, metallic black matte and metallic blue matte.
The MSRP for the new version is $200 per lighter. Interestingly, Vector-KGM will continue to offer the original Sonicpump at its current $150 price.
Vector-KGM says it plans to ship the new version beginning in late April.
