In 2016, Kristoff released the Pistoff Kristoff, which was meant to be the fullest of the company’s offerings. Featuring a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan fillers, the Pistoff Kristoff line debuted in four sizes.
In 2019, two sizes were added to the line: the Extremely Pistoff Kristoff, a massive 8 1/2 x 60 gordo extra, and the much smaller Lil Pistoff Kristoff, a 5 x 44 corona.
For what is being billed as a strong cigar, the Lil Pistoff Kristoff delivers flavor in a smooth fashion instead of just assaulting your palate with straight black pepper. While price doesn't factor into the score, it's a very reasonable $6.60, the least expensive cigar on this list. — Brian Burt.
